Terms and Conditions of PBM Pfefferle GmbH
1. General

The delivery of the stud certificate - also to the responsible association - takes place only after payment of the full stud fee and all costs. Proof of parentage must be submitted for the mare to be properly issued (a copy is sufficient).
2. Sending semen
The breeding season always starts on January 15th. and ends on 08/15 Exceptions are possible in individual cases by arrangement. We kindly ask you to order semen for the following day Mon. - Fri. by 10:00 am and Sat. until 9:00 am. There is no delivery on Sundays and public holidays. The delivery is carried out by a private transport company to the contract veterinarian and is billed separately. A maximum of 3 servings are sent per horse. The semen container and the completed and signed semen usage certificate must be returned within one week. Containers that are not returned will be billed. TG - semen is only delivered after a shipping container has been sent or a rental fee for our container has been paid (in advance).
3. Deck hygiene
The following are permitted for covering without prior veterinary examination (swab sample): Mares with foals with feet after normal birth. Maiden mares up to 3 years of age, but it is recommended to have a swab test carried out on these mares as well. Other veterinary treatments are charged separately. In an emergency (colic, etc.) we are entitled to deliver the horse to the nearest clinic.
4. Liability
The stallion owner is only liable for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence by him or a vicarious agent. This limitation of liability includes all damage that may arise during the hiring of the mare, in particular when the mares are brought to the stallions. The stallion owner is not liable for damage caused by third parties. To cover the risk from animal owner and animal keeper liability (§ 833, 834 BGB), the owner has to take out liability insurance.
5. Place of performance and jurisdiction
The place of performance is the stallion owner's registered office. For all current and future claims from the business relationship, insofar as the breeder is a registered trader, the exclusive place of jurisdiction is the registered office of the stallion owner. Place of jurisdiction: Bad Saulgau
